Monthly Favourites - Skin Care
I haven't looked back since up-leveling my skincare. No more overly perfumed, nastie-filled cleansers; I've taken to looking up independent specialist skincare brands that are also cruelty-free and I have noticed a significant improvement in my skin.
Mario Badescu Facial Spray
I always spritz this on freshly cleansed skin and a little over make up. It feels lovely and fresh and its rose scent is gorgeous
The Ordinary Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% 30ml
I've wanted to try something from The Ordinary for ages. There is such a large selection and their prices are beyond reasonable. I use this for my pores, blackheads and redness. I have noticed a significant reduction in the pores and blackheads on my nose since using this.
I used this as the secondary cleanse after I have washed my face especially if I have worn alot of make up that day. No matter how thorough I wash my face there's always a little bit of makeup on the cotton pad.
Irie Rock Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Deep Pore Cleanser
This is soooo strong, I only use it to wash off the chamomile butter. It is way too strong to use direct on my skin, I did this once and I had tight angry skin for a whole day.
The Abnormal Beauty Company Hylamide Subq Eyes
Quite a splurge but I noticed a difference within a few days. I use this twice a day and the skin under my eyes is considerably brighter, I don't look as tired as I feel.
The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter
This is my first step to remove make up. I love the smell and its great at removing waterproof mascara. Coconut oil is a good substitute if I run out of it.
Sukin Sensitive Calming Night Cream
I apply this once the Ferulic acid has been absorbed. It lovely and rich, the only thing is I'm not a big fan of the smell but then its free of all nasties and synthetic fragrance.
Burt's Bees Radiance Facial Cleanser
I adore Burt's Bees (the lemon cuticle butter is divine). This is a gentle face cleanser with a little exfoliate I use in the shower, I love Royal Jelly, the smell reminds of my grandmother.
