My Week In Photographs

This week we saw the end of the amazing weather and were treated to downpours from Thursday onwards.

Our week didn't really start until Wednesday, we visited Clissold paddling pool. It was Willow's first time to a paddling pool other than the waterpark on Legoland the week before. My 12-year-old niece came with us and we stumbled upon this huge mushroom growing from a dead tree trunk, it was about the size of a dinner plate.

On Thursday we visited the Museum Of London, I am looking to get an animal skull tattoo in the near future and this skull was inspiring. I was super happy to find they had a Brutalism section at the gift shop too. I have a fondness for this kind of architecture and had no idea what it was called until recenlty.

I attempted an Oat Milk recipe from A Considered Life and used the leftover blended, strained oats to make cookies, they're topped with my own superseed mix

Sunday we went for a long walk along the River Lea in Hackney.

I love finding funghi, something about the conditions having to be just right and they'll grow abundantly.
